4th Circassian Day in Europe

The Federation of European Circassians proudly presents the 4th consecutive Circassian Day at the European Parliament. We are glad to welcome all Circassians to this year's event themed "Circassian Homeland and Diaspora" in Brussels on 5th October 2009. We are awaiting numerous scholars from the Caucasus, USA, Europe, Turkey and the Near East to this exceptional event.
Our major purpose is to present the unique Circassian Culture on the most important poltical stage in Europe. Further, speakers from the diaspora will shed light on the challenges of Circassians on their way to preserve their culture and especially their languages in their various diaspora.
As a Circassian roof organization in Europe we would like to draw the EP's attention to the proceeding erosion of the Circassian culture and ask for support in our endeavour to prevent further extinction.
We are counting on you and awaiting your confirmation of participation.
