The first CRG seminar entitled “Diaspora Politics and the case of Circassians in Turkey” will take place at 3PM on Saturday, April 9th, 2011 at the French Institute of Anatolian Research in Istanbul. The speakers are Ass Prof Nergis Canefe of York University of Canada and Dr Alexandre Toumarkine of the said Institute. In the audience will be academics and representatives from various formal and informal Circassian groupings and organizations operating in Turkey.
